Church History:

Iron Range Baptist, formally known as Grace Bible Church, started on January 4^th 1987 with eight families.  The first meeting was held in a home. 

The formation of the new fellowship would be called Grace Bible Church on February 23th, 1987.  They began to meet at the Clinton Town Hall. In April, the church moved to the Cherry Town Hall and stayed until October 1992.

In June of 1992, the church started a building project for a permanent location in Iron the current location. Burrell Bentz, arrived from Grand Rapids as the pastor in 1990.

Marvin Aultman, was ordained on August 28^th 1994 and became the new pastor. He remained pastor until his departure to heaven in 2018. Adam Johnson became pastor in 2018-2021. During this time the church voted to change the name to Iron Range Baptist.

In October 2023, Pastor George Lemelin became pastor and is currently serving the church and surrounding community. Come and visit the doors are open!
